NO PAIN.....NO GAIN!

This is my favorite little guy. He sure has taught me a lot lately....

Sometimes we forget to have fun when we are trying to accomplish our goals. Here is what I have learned from watching Finn in the snow...

Take a great idea and some determination and RUN with it...

Practice a lot....

Tumble a little, get back up and try it again!!!

Leave your fear behind but
don't forget to bring your passion and your commitment....

and a whole lot of excitement...

add pride...(lots of it??)

And a whole lotta heart!

And then take the time to marinate in pure satisfaction!!

Life lessons from my 8 year old. Nothing better!!!

What a GREAT series of pictures! His energy and excitement are tangible. And you're so right, what brilliant lessons to learn... as adults we are so focussed on the outcome, we fear to try for making mistakes and sometimes we forget entirely about enjoying the process and celebrating the triumphs along the way... I LOVE this - thank you for sharing it 'cause it made me smile!

And I do hope you're all feeling better? :)

I love that name, Finn. And I really appreciate the way you see your son and how you learn from him. What a great set of pictures and wonderful lessons to go with each. I feel like you just gave me a huge reminder on how life should be lived! :) Thanks!

Love this wonderful post. And I'm gladd you're up and running again after being sick.

Have fun fun fun with your kiddo. And thanks for remembering me that having fun, falling down and get up again is the wonderful lesson in life. Enjoy my friend.
